Full house, great energy. Faber LABS live on stage at European Women in Technology

LABS Women In Technology

26 June 2025

What a day! On 25 June, our very own Ennia (Data Lead) and Laura (Data Scientist) took the stage at the European Women in Technology conference in Amsterdam to host a workshop on “How to Prompt like a Pro.”

And… what a turnout. The room was packed, the energy was high, and the interaction? Even better than we hoped for.

“As a woman who’s worked in tech for over eight years, I’ve gotten very used to being surrounded by a vast majority of men. Being able to host a workshop for over 60 tech-savvy and highly-motivated women was absolutely incredible.”
Ennia

"It was incredible to see so many women in tech come together with genuine curiosity about Large Language Models and AI. The energy during the workshop was supportive and inspiring. It was full of thoughtful questions and a shared eagerness to learn and grow together."
Laura

The workshop explored how LLMs and GenAI actually work. Not focussed on the hype, but actually hands-on. So that when you left the room, you learned something and you got to use it immediately. Topics included:

  • How LLMs work (and why they’re less intimidating than they sound; because let’s face it, Large Language Models does sound a bit intimidating);
  • When to use them, but equally important, when not to;
  • And off course how to prompt like a pro yourself.

As part of the interactive session, participants were quizzed on GenAI behaviour, invited to co-create prompts, and walked away with practical tips they could apply the very next day.

A big thank you to everyone who joined, engaged and brought their curiosity. 💡 Thanks to the organisation of European Women in Technology for hosting us, it was A M A Z I N G!
