’S-HERTOGENBOSCH / Faber Group, a leading provider of circular load carrier services, is taking the next step in making supply chains more sustainable and digital with the launch of its tech division, Faber LABS. The new office, located in the historic Gruyterfabriek in ’s-Hertogenbosch, was officially opened by Faber Group CEO Ingrid Faber, CDO Andrew Berkhout and alderman Ralph Geers of the Municipality of ’s-Hertogenbosch.

With Faber LABS, Faber Group is accelerating its transformation into a data-driven organisation. Through smart technologies and connected pooling services, load carriers such as pallets and crates can be tracked and managed more efficiently – reducing loss and cutting CO₂ emissions. Faber Group has committed to reducing CO₂ emissions for its customers through these services by at least 58 kilotonnes annually by 2030. In 2024, the company already achieved a reduction of 40 kilotonnes. These efforts also support Faber Group’s goal of further strengthening its top-tier Platinum Ecovadis rating – a leading benchmark for business sustainability.

“With Faber LABS, we’re bringing our promise to elevate circularity and transparency to life. Data and digitalisation are essential to maintain and grow our leading position in the industry.”
Ingrid Faber, CEO of Faber Group

Faber LABS focuses on developing innovative solutions for its customers, including real-time tracking via IoT, data-driven reporting, and smarter supply chain management. These ambitions are closely aligned with the City of ’s-Hertogenbosch’s vision of becoming a leading "City of Data".

“As a municipality, we are strongly committed to digitalisation and sustainability. We are pleased to welcome innovative, data-driven companies that contribute to this development. The arrival of Faber LABS highlights that ’s-Hertogenbosch is increasingly being chosen as a base for this type of organisation – which aligns well with our ambition to be a leading City of Data.”
Ralph Geers, Alderman for Economic Affairs, ’s-Hertogenbosch, responsible for the City of Data programme.

The division is expected to grow to 65 team members in 2025, offering new opportunities for innovation within the transport and logistics sector.
